Pilot’s watch legends such as the Mark 11 from 1948 are not only milestones in the company’s history, but have had a lasting influence on the appearance of classic pilot’s watches. With the Pilot’s Watch Mark XVIII Ref. IW324712, IWC offers now an attractive entry-level model in the popular TOP GUN Edition. Everything has also been designed here for clarity and ease of use. The Arabic numerals are large and round in their place with two exceptions: The typical pilot’s triangle with lateral dots for orientation is positioned on the number twelve, and the date appears at three o’clock. The TOP GUN logo appears on the dial at nine o’clock and is engraved on the stainless-steel caseback of the 41 millimeter large case.
