Big Pilot’s Watch 43

The puristic instrument design of the Big Pilot’s Watch 43 Spitfire from IWC Schaffhausen dates back to the Mark 11 navigation watch, which was produced in Schaffhausen for the British Royal Air Force from 1948. The IWC manufacture caliber 82100 is used in this functional timepiece, which measures 43.0 x 14.4 mm and is water-resistant to 10 bar. The robust self-winding movement generates a power reserve of 72 hours. An inner cage made of soft iron in a titanium case effectively protects the movement from magnetic fields. The black dial (Ref. IW329701) and the brown calfskin strap also represent the classic look of an aviator watch.
